  - How and where does your community access services (healthcare, transportation, educational services, etc.)?

Examples of activities and services: Shopping areas, schools and universities, libraries, parks, lakes, rivers, places of worship, healthcare services, public transport, local nonprofit organizations, etc.

Your response: My community is the rural area surrounding Staunton, Va. Staunton is where we go for all our needs like shopping, mechanical repairs, etc. It is also where we socialize. Many people commute going east on I-64 and we want that commute to be safe and efficient.

Examples of economic or environmental interests: Tourism industry, agricultural workers, mining town, manufacturing center, polluted natural resource, unemployment problem, etc.

Your response: My community is largely agricultural. Most people either commute a considerable distance (at least 20 minutes) to work or they work a farm.

Examples of needs or concerns: Keep community in the same district or separate into multiple districts, shared policy concerns, need for a social service, relationship to other nearby communities, issues with current district lines

Your response: The current Congressional district goes north and south along I-81. The more realistic map would be shorter than this. In my area, we tend to reach east towards Waynesboro, Afton, and Crozet as places we go and participate with. We have little in common with Roanoke, VA or Winchester, VA
