Your response: I grew up in Plains which was majority white; now that I live in Americus around more people that look like me, I feel more comfortable. There's a better sense of community here. From community events, back to school drives with free hair cuts for kids; we make each other feel like they belong instead of separate.

Examples of needs or concerns: Keep community in the same district or separate into multiple districts, shared policy concerns, need for a social service, relationship to other nearby communities, issues with current district lines

Your response: When covid first hit, the hospital in Americus filled up very quickly because it not only serves Americus and all of Sumter County, but other counties have to rely on them as well for health care. So maybe having more health care resources in surround areas could help in case anything like that was to happen again.
