Most of the people I know in my community have children so many of our activities are related to the schools. Many people are also employed at the University. On the weekends, we gather at local parks and preserves: Autumn Hill, Herrontown Woods, Smoyer Park, Community Park and Mountain Lakes. We also use the tow path along the Delaware-Raritan canal. Carnegie Lake sits on one edge of Princeton and is fed by the Stonybrook Stream. In terms of shopping, many people go downtown or to the Princeton Shopping, but many also go to businesses on the US 1, such as Trader Joe's or to Costco and Quakerbridge Mall. The hospital is on the US 1.
