When my parents moved here in 1971, things were alot different than they are now. There are various ethnic groups among us, and over the years, even during my lifetime, immigrants have moved to this area.

Perhaps it is simply due to living in NYS, but whatever the case is, it seems that we are paying more and more for less and less. Quality groceries are on occasion hard to come by, and with apps like DoorDash and UberEats increasing their prices via Service Fees (due to labor laws on wage in the state, which they ironically lobbied against), the cost of living seems to be at an all time high, even years after COVID.
