My community is made up of life long residents where there older population frequents the local shops and stores and where the young - middle aged residents travel outside for most of their shopping, recreation and healthcare services. The community members attend life long family churches they attended since childhood - there is little to no diversity in the local churches
My community is made up of majority of white residents on local farm land; we are the only Black family in the midst of our actual residing community. Other communities in the area are made up mostly of Black residents who mainly interact with each other and have no community or art centers that reflect their Black culture, history or beliefs. The town which is the county's seat holds a standing slave market in the center of its town square which the Black citizens find demeaning and degrading.
The majority of the working class must commute over 60 miles each day to work as there are no viable good paying jobs in the county. There is a building in the community that sits on abestos and must be inspected yearly by the EPA to detect movement or shifting of the building.
The jobs, shopping and healthcare facilities for the people in this community must all be kept in the same district.
