Lynnway: one of the oldest and most recognized streets in Lynn. There is a supermarket, Price Chopper, where low-income folks primarily shop. There are other services for low-income people. Pathfinder is a nonprofit based on the Lynnway that provides ESL classes. New American Center provides citizenship classes. Department of Mental Health and Child Services also on the Lynnway. The waterfront is where many in the homeless community sleep, more than 500 living in this area. There's conversations about development in this area, and concerns about flooding and no parking in the residences.
