My community is walkable. Several people have dogs that they walk regularly. There are a lot of bike riders and people who walk to the Smith's grocery store and State Liquor Store to get their supplies. There is a local hospital, LDS hospital, where people can get emergency treatment and other hospital services. There are a couple of convenience stores. I'd guess that there are more Subaru vehicles per capita in this neighborhood than in any other place on Earth.
The Avenues are one of the oldest neighborhoods in Utah. The Salt Lake City Cemetery has markers from Pioneers to Veterans and old ghost stories. Culturally, the Avenues are liberal, but also have some of the oldest LDS wards in Stakes in Utah.
Since the homes are expensive, economically people are upper to high end financially.
Zoning, and safety are important.
