N. Dekalb County is made up of 30% or more Caucasian with other ethnic groups including Asian and Latino. N. Dekalb has several diverse businesses and good schools. N. Dekalb County has been following a trend of city incorporation of suburbs, i.e. Dunwoody (70% White, 13% African American and 11% Asian American), Brookhaven 62% White, 18% African American and 5% Asian and other. This community has seen a significant population growth of 37% since the last census. The population increase is largely due to increase of Hispanic, Chinese and Asian immigrants (multi-ethnic make-up).
