My community is made up of people who gather and socialize in the same neighborhoods in Chicago. We also rely on the same public transit options, notably the Red Line station, 22 and 36 bus.

My community is made up of queer people in a queer neighborhood. Our community has concerns about gentrification and assimilation, as the neighborhood becomes more expensive and has more cishet families. This especially true for queer women and trans people.In addition, my community is in a historically Swedish neighborhood. Most of the historical buildings and establishments have Swedish origins which are being lost.
