My community is anchored by a number other progressive and historical neighborhoods. It boasts a number of local and tourists attractions including The Atlanta Beltline, the Krog Tunnel, Oakland Cemetery, The King Center, Ebenezer Baptist Church, Auburn Avenue, Edgewood, The Atlanta Zoo, Ponce City Market the Krog Market and so much more. We are flanked by trendy restaurants, lounges, cultural events, senior housing, mixed use developments, multiple small and large retail establishments. It's a destination that lots of folks travel to by cars and ride share, but it is also a hub of bicycles, scooters.
My area has gone through exponential growth over a number of years. It's an electic mix of different age ranges and ethnicities. It's the oldest Black neighborhood in Atlanta and served as the home to Black families who worked the railroad, which runs through Reynoldstown and adjacent neighborhoods. It is also the home of the craddle of the Civil Rights Movement and the birthplace of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.- Auburn Avenue.
My community is in-town and filled with small businesses that are owned and employee neighbors. We are located central to both I-20 and I-75/85- two of the major highways of the state.
My community resides within Atlanta and Fulton County- the Capitol city and the largest county in the state.
