Community Information

LGBT+ diversity entertainment small businesses activism

My community is made up of people who live in the Grant Park area. The community is interested in social activism and the safety and well being of the neighborhood and the businesses that reside within.

The community is a diverse group of folks, who are (on average) in their 30s-50s and enjoy supporting local companies and others in the community. We enjoy our neighborhood and look out for each other and are looking for some additional resources to come closer to us.

My community is very concerned with social justice issues and keeping the local businesses alive and thriving in these tough times. I think many folks are now working from home and are looking to have additional local resources available (more internet options, better infrastructure, more restaurant/grocery options/etc.)

Our community is primarily residential and sits on the beltline. Many of us are interested in beltline development (and taxes associated with that) and bringing in additional resources, such as restaurants and grocery stores into closer proximity to us.
