My community is made of a variety of people that includes military personnel, retirees, a transitional group, and working class people. I am proud to say that we all have the common good of our community in our hearts. We are all working together to make this a better place where we can live and prosper. That is why we do not want to be broken up by Redistricting. We desire the opportunity to elect leaders who have our values as their values.
There is lots of Black history in this part of Georgia, which includes the Dorchester Center, the Riceboro Gullah Geechee Center, and other museums dedicated to preserving the rich Black history that is both good and bad.
Economically, this area is suffering immensely. We need to grow!
My community needs dedicated leaders with good character who are more concerned about the good of the people than they are about money.
