My community is made up of commuters who travel on the Q72 and 7 train everyday. We all share the same services such as the Hospital, the Food Bazaar, and even the laundromat. Junction Blvd is the center of the community wherein everyone goes there for some light shopping and some light eating.
My community is very ethnically and racially diverse. All cultures are celebrated and enjoyed in my community. The different kinds of restaurants and stores show this. One one end of the street we have Mexican and Dominican restaurants, and on the other end we have a Chinese one. There is a diversity of language, a lot of the people in my neighborhood speak Spanish, Mandarin, and Bengali. My community is also made up of immigrants, with most immigrants coming from Central America
A lot of the residents are employed in public sectors, less than ten percent of the community works for private companies. Unemployment rate in my community is also below the national average.
The main concern for my community at the moment would be crime. Just a few weeks ago someone was shot dead. There is a police precincts nearby, but there presence doesn't seem to really be changing anything.
