Your response: There are very ethnically diverse communities in S Plainfield, Mountainside, Fanwood, Clark, and a Native American reservation nearby. There is also a variety of churches, temples, etc. Historic Black communities have faced similar housing, labor, discrimination, etc. struggles.

Examples of economic or environmental interests: Tourism industry, agricultural workers, mining town, manufacturing center, polluted natural resource, unemployment problem, etc.

Your response: Fanwood downtown and train station. Largely middle class community.

Examples of needs or concerns: Keep community in the same district or separate into multiple districts, shared policy concerns, need for a social service, relationship to other nearby communities, issues with current district lines

Your response: This community is currently split between District 22 and others. The diversity of the community is what makes it a cohesive community, so it should be kept together.
