Your response: Somers Point is a working class area, and many people work in the casino industry. I believe that the legislature works well when it represents this industry and the people who work in it.

Examples of needs or concerns: Keep community in the same district or separate into multiple districts, shared policy concerns, need for a social service, relationship to other nearby communities, issues with current district lines

Your response: Somers Point should remain in District 2. The geographical proximity of where representatives live to Somers Point is helpful to cater to residents’ needs. Our needs are much different from Ocean County.Lastly, in general, residents are uncomfortable with flip flopping between District 1 and District 2 every 10 years.
