Plainsboro and West Windsor share a school district. District 15 has few high performing school districts (except for one high performing district), but District 14 has more high performing districts. The needs of students in lower performing schools with lower incomes in District 15 need to be respected just like the higher income/performance area in D15.
District 15 is majority minority. West Windsor is 40% foreign born: a significant immigrant community. Plainsboro is more similar to West Windsor than other towns in district 15.
West Windsor’s median income is higher than other towns in D15. Route 1 and I-295 run through D15 and provide a large NEC transportation route. Increasing home prices in West Windsor set it apart from other D15 towns, like Lawrence. There is also a shared reliance on Princeton and Hamilton train stations and bus routes.
Plainsboro and West Windsor should be together.
