Your response: Chelsea, MA is located next to the airport, the Tobin Bridge, and is home to the New England Produce Center and Salt Piles, and houses 100% of Logan Airport's Jetfule which means there are thousands of trucks going in and out of our city each day bringing necessities to the rest of Massachusetts. This all contributes pollution and diesel particulate matter into our air, and affecting our resident's health outcomes. Chelsea has the highest asthma hospitalization rates in the state, and amongst the highest rates of heart disease, stroke, and chronic illness.
