Examples of needs or concerns: Keep community in the same district or separate into multiple districts, shared policy concerns, need for a social service, relationship to other nearby communities, issues with current district lines

Your response: Like most of all Arkansas rural communities, the emergency medical and firefighter force is 90%+ volunteer. Young adults are challenged to join by the factors of time and money which they find to be scarce as they are trying to get ahead and even support a family. The personnel on average is aging in these districts which is a double-edged sword for retaining the experienced volunteers at the same time losing possible response time due to diminished physical ability and stamina that goes with an average age of responders over 50 years old. The equipment and apparatus one finds in the rural districts is often older hand-me-downs that are prone to failure during incidents.
