Community Information

diversity education

Somers Point shares high school with D2 communities.

My community is very diverse.

Somers Point should remain in District 2, and not be moved into District 1. Replacement into D1 would cause confusion for many citizens. For example, the current legislative office is a couple miles away in D2. If we were moved into D1, the nearest office would be 23mi away with no direct bus route (This is a 1h 48min trip)! Lastly, Somers Point is not contiguous with D1 but rather separated by water and toll ways.
